Samantha and I left Springfield on September 29 around 1PM with all of our belonging packed tightly in a moving truck and our car being towed on a trailer. We arrived in Denver around 2:30AM the next day. It was a long trip, but we made it. Now we are enjoying our day staying at Samantha's aunt and uncle's house and meeting their new born baby.
During the trip, we encountered some interesting things. We found out our cat, Zamora, is such an awesome kitty. She handled the trip very well. We also witnessed a shooting star while driving in the night through Kansas. It was a surreal moment for sure. Speaking of Kansas, we found out that driving through it is not that enjoyable. It is so loooong. But we eventually made it. One more thing we learned, we fill confident driving a moving truck after spending 13 hours in one together. We know that completing the trip should be manageable.
We will leave for Mountain Home, ID tomorrow morning and then ultimately leave for Eugene, OR on Friday. We will keep you updated.
